Course Content

Coaching supervision is a vital reflective practice that provides a dedicated space for learning and introspection. Unlike traditional coaching, which targets specific goals, or mentoring, which focuses on skill enhancement, coaching supervision dives deeply into your coaching practice.

It is a time devoted to reflection and exploration, starting from the sharing of real cases and sessions with clients, and working through a systemic perspective. This also includes addressing ethical doubts and dilemmas.

Each session is an opportunity to reflect on coaching experiences together with a group of colleagues, and through exploration and reflection, some themes which might emerge include:

  • How to work effectively in complex and ‘messy’ organisational systems
  • How to keep the focus on ethical issues and clarity on relational boundaries
  • How to gain new perspectives in the relational space with the client and gain insights into yourself as a person and as a coach.
  • How to engage in the playful and insightful explorations possible in supervision through sharing with other experienced coaches.
  • How to engage in a systemic approach, using the group as a sounding board, which is essential when working with groups and teams
